Kilvakkala Midsummer Festival 19.6.2026 at 14.00–18.00

Welcome to Kilvakkala School to celebrate a traditional Midsummer's Eve with the whole family. The program includes togetherness, playful competitions, music and a summer atmosphere in the middle of the village community. The event is organized by Kilvakkalan Villages Association.

During the Midsummer celebration, you can participate in the Village Olympics, where teams of 2–4 people compete against each other in fun tasks. The competitions emphasize cooperation, ingenuity, knowledge and dexterity. You don't need to be a top athlete.

For children and young people, there will be stick horse obstacle races for different age groups and a precision shooting competition. During the day, you can also enjoy accordion music, face painting, pony rides and treats from the village café. Sausages, waffles and other café offerings are available.

The event area is located around the Kilvakkala school, field and kindergarten at Kilvakkalantie 25. The day will culminate with the award ceremony for the competitions at 5:00 PM.

Kilvakkala's Midsummer celebrations offer an opportunity to meet familiar people, get to know new people and spend a summer day together with villagers and residents of the surrounding area. Welcome to join us in celebrating Midsummer in a communal and warm atmosphere.
