Houses and plots

The statement of a visitor who has traveled extensively in Finland – when he came from Parkano – “the most beautiful view I have ever seen while traveling” probably describes the Kovelahti region perfectly. It also offers a peaceful and safe living environment, which many new families with children and returnees have already realized.

Kovelahti is a narrow bay that juts out northwest of Lake Kyrösjärvi, over 10 km long. At the end of this naturally beautiful bay is the village of Kovelahti, on the southern shore lies Koveranta and on the northern side Tuhkuri. The intermediate village is located to the west around the Kovesjoki River, against the border of Lake Jämijärvi.

The Kovelahti region, located in the southwestern part of the city of Ikaalinen, has a surprisingly short distance to the regional centers, as the centers and services of Ikaalinen, Parkano, Jämijärvi and Kankaanpää are only 20-25 kilometers away. The distance to Tampere is 70 km.
