Discover the villages of Myllykarttu-Mansoniemi

Mansoniemi is a village located in the immediate vicinity of Highway 3, with land areas bordering Lake Kyrösjärvi. The location offers excellent transport connections both by road and water. 

The main road on both sides is home to permanent residents, about 400 residents in a hundred households. And the beaches are populated by cottagers during the holiday season, when the village's population doubles, as there are also about 100 holiday homes in our area. 

Our strength is community. We care about our neighbors, whether they are permanent residents or cottagers. The motto for this is the saying "It's up to you if you don't dare to ask when you need help." 

Our village is located in an agricultural production area, there are still dairy farms, but also farms that are focused on organic production. Machinery contracting, earthmoving companies and other agricultural and forestry side activities can be found nearby. The 113-year-old former school in Mansoniemi is home to a company whose business includes a natural health centre, space rental, events and a shop. The school is still a gathering place in our area. The gym members of the community college go to the gym once a week to exercise, the company regularly keeps the shop open for customers, singing bowl rental once a week, a borrow-give-loan library and various events and training are a big part of our village's activities. The school has meeting rooms for local clubs and happy events are also organised in cooperation. 

The local sports club Mansoniemen Meno has been operating for an impressive 70 years. Its activities focus on cross-country running and skiing. The club encourages children and adults in Ikaalinen to get active. Events are organised in Mansoniemi and other nearby villages.
