Entrance road plan change 2

The aim of the local plan amendment is to designate road 2595 (access road) as a street area between the northern ramp exit of the highway 3 interchange and Vanha Tampereentie in accordance with the traffic area boundaries of the current local plans.

The change in the local plan implements the road plan for the improvement of the Ikaalinen access road (Mt 2595) and Vanha Tampereentie (Mt 13139) prepared for the planning area, which aims to build a roundabout at the intersection of Vanha Tampereentie and the access road and to redesign the junction arrangements of the access road, Rinteenmutkatie and Pilvilinnankatu. The general aim of the road plan is to improve traffic safety and the functionality of the junctions, especially for light traffic.

The intention is to prepare the change to the local plan in such a way that it can be treated as having minor impacts (MRL Section 52).

In the plan, the entrance road is named Ikaalistentie.
