Municipal survey on the Luikesneva-Susineva wind power project
Elements Suomi Oy is planning the Luikesneva-Susineva wind farm in Ikaalinis and Parkano. The environmental impacts of the project are currently being assessed in the ongoing environmental impact assessment (EIA) procedure. As part of the impact assessment, a survey will be carried out for residents of the Luikesneva-Susineva area. The results of the survey will be used in the impact assessment and further planning of the project.

Elements Suomi Oy is planning to build a maximum of 33 wind turbines in the Luikesneva-Susineva wind farm planning area, which is located in the areas of the cities of Ikaalinen and Parkano. A maximum of 28 wind turbines are planned to be built in the area of the city of Ikaalinen.
The OAS was visible from October 15, 2025 to November 14, 2025 and from November 26, 2025 to December 29, 2025 on the public announcements notice board, the city library (Poppelikatu 10) and the technical office (Kolmen Airon katu 3), as well as on the website of the City of Ikaalinen.
A separate Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has been launched in connection with the project, which is the responsibility of Pirkanmaan ELY-keskus.
Public events regarding the EIA program and zoning (OAS) were organized by the ELY Center and the project cities in Parkano on October 29, 2025 and Ikaalisi on October 30, 2025. It was also possible to participate in the public events via remote connection.
The EIA program was on display from October 15 to November 13, 2025.
