Patrakka-Sikuri sub-general plan

Planning for the improvement of Highway 3 has begun. The purpose of the partial master plan work is to prepare a legally effective partial master plan for the area between Patrakka and Sikuri in Ikaalinen, around Highway 3. The plan amends the existing partial master plan for Central Areas and the Kyrösjärvi Coastal Partial Master Plan 1.

The implementation of the road project requires a partial master plan amendment. In addition, the zoning will improve the development conditions of the Patrakka and Luomu areas as growing business areas. The planned underpass on Highway 3 will enable Patrakka and Luomu to be combined into a single workplace area in the future. In addition, the partial master plan aims to expand the industrial area reservations to match the land ownership of the City of Ikaalinen in the area in question.
