Change in the town plan of the old college of commerce area

The goal is to develop the old market town of Ikaalinen by creating an opportunity for the area to benefit from the surrounding cityscape, as well as a residential block suitable for a nationally significant built cultural environment.

The planning area is located along Valtakatu in the area between Mänttikatu and Kyrösselänkatu, mainly comprising plots RN:o 5:3 and 5:4. The area contains an old, decommissioned trade college, which was completed in 1965, as well as extensions in 1976 and 2001. The building has been vacant for years. The area of ​​the planning area is approximately 9580 m2.

The planning area is privately owned.
