European Parliament elections 2024

The European Parliament (EP) is one of the legislative bodies of the European Union. Its members are elected by EU citizens in direct elections held in all Member States every five years. The next elections will be held in 2024. The elections to the European Parliament are held in a manner that each Member State organises within the framework of its own national legislation.

The 2024 European Parliament elections will be held in all EU member states during the election period from 6 to 9 June 2024. In Finland, election day is Sunday 9.6.2024. 

Early voting in the home country 29.5.-4.6.2024.

Registration for home voting ends on Tuesday May 28, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.
