Cultural Services Grants 2026

Cultural services grants for 2026 have been distributed! 

This year, the Cultural Services budget allocated an allocation of 30 euros for grants for cultural services. The aim is to support associations engaged in cultural work, enliven the cultural life of the community, and enable events. 

The grant is intended for associations ifor a cultural event or activity open to everyone in Ikaalinen. The grants were available for application from 26.1 January to 8.3.2026 March 30. XNUMX applications were received by the deadline.  

The Education Committee decided at its meeting on March 25, 2026 to award cultural services grants to the following applicants: 

1. Ikaalinen Nykymartat ry: Porridge day in Olkkari, 500 e  
2. Röyhiö Village Association: Summer Theatre Performances, 2000 e  
3. Ikaalisten Old Town Cultural Club: Opening of Ikaalisten Christmas Street, 500 e
4. Ikaalinen Region Vehicle Enthusiasts Association: Old Vehicles and Romps event, 1000 e  
5. Sauna Festival Association: Sauna Festival, 3000 e  
6. Taika Ikaalinen Art Association: Photo and art exhibition and/or preparation of geocaches, 500 e
7. Tevaniemi Village Association: Village Association 40 years event, 500 e  
8. Pensioners' Association of Ikaali: Hometown tours, 1000 euros  
9. Mannerheim League for Child Welfare Ikaalinen Association: Family Day event, 1500 euros  
10. Aureenlopen Wilderness Hikers Association: The association's 60th anniversary, 500 e   
11. Ikaalinen Youth Orchestra Support Association: Visit of the Swiss Youth Orchestra, 1000 e  
12. Ikaalinen 4H Association: Day camps, 1500 e  
13. Ikaalinen Kalevala Women's Association: Poetry Singing Workshops, 1000 e  
14. Luhalahti Youth Association: Concert or theater performance for children and young people, 1000 e  
15. Kilvakkalan Villages Association: Village café activities, 500 e  
16. Waloa Association: Boxing Day dances, 500 e  
17. Pro Ikaalinen association: Park Topiknik concerts, 1500 e  
18. Ikaalinen Workers' Athletes Association: Stage dances at Heinistö, 500 e  
19. Tevaniemen Village Association: May Day event, 500 e 
20. Ikaalinen Male Singers Association: 75th anniversary concert, 500 e  
21. Park Philosophy Association: Park Philosophy event, 7000 euros  
22. Kilvakkalan Villages Association: Midsummer event, 500 e  
23. Ikaalinen Old Town Local Community Association Oma Tupa ry: Concerts, 1500 e  
24. Kovelahti Region Villages Association: Aerial Photos Come Alive exhibition, 500 e  
25. Ikaalinen Entrepreneurs Association: The Village is Accelerating event, 500 euros  
26. Finnish Nature Conservation Union's Ikaalinen Association: Golden Eagle at the Borders of its Habitat Exhibition, 500 e 

Grants are paid in accordance with the budget implementation instructions. The grant may only be used for expenses specified in the application. The use of the grant must be reported to the Communications and Culture Coordinator by January 15, 2027. The report must include a statement on the use of the grant and the implementation and impact of the event. The grant recipient must notify the Culture Coordinator immediately if they do not accept the grant. The grant amount is available for the calendar year 2026. The event advertising must mention that the event has received support from the City of Ikaalinen.
