E-resources

E-resorces means a film, book, audiobook, magazine or music that is available electronically. The library offers you various e-resources. You can usually use them by logging in with your library card and PIN code. The National E-Library is implemented with strong authentication. You can always ask the library's customer service for help if you want to know more about any e-resources.

E-movies

There are movies you can watch with your library card. Cineast– and the Naxos Video Library applications. In addition, the Elonet service has films that can be watched without a library card. Medici.tv offers classical music, ballet and jazz.
  

E-books

You can borrow literature in Finnish and foreign languages ​​from the National E-Library.
  

E-magazines

On the client computers in the library's newspaper room, you can read mainly foreign-language e-magazines from the Pressreader services. The National E-Library offers electronic magazines. The ePress service, which offers electronic newspapers, was removed from the PIKI libraries' service selection on 31 December 2025 for cost reasons.
  

Electronic music

The library offers music streaming services. The Naxos Music service includes collections in four different musical genres.

Rockway is a Finnish-language online service that offers video courses on playing and singing. PIKI library customers can choose from over 30 courses at different levels, from beginners to advanced.
