PIKI online library
KirjaSampo is a Finnish library's online literature service. Kirjasampo lets you find interesting authors, books and new reading experiences. You can also check the availability of books at the library, share the books you've read and recommend them to others.
Sivupiiri is a section of Kirjasampo presenting children's and young adult literature. The section publishes your own daily news, news related to children's and young adult literature, and reading recommendations in the form of bookshelves. Bookshelves are worth using to support teaching and literary work, there are already many reading recommendations on different topics and divided into different age groups. The bookshelf function is also worth using by making lists of tips that suit your own needs.
Kirjan jäljillä -blog takes you on the trail of books, as the saying goes. Riitta Taarasti, editor and producer of the library section, talks about the books she has read and the kind of traces her reading experiences have left. Each blog entry is also accompanied by a video in which the author of the book takes you on the trail of the work. In some of the videos, the author talks about the work in question in an interview, and in some, the author reads his or her work.
