Instructions for event organizers!

Please register your event in the Ikaalinen City Event Calendar!

Event organizers can now easily register their events directly using the form!

Notification does not require registration. For example, in associations and clubs, please agree who will notify the events so that there are no overlaps.

> Please register your event using the form, which you can find in the event calendar in the location shown in the image above.

The event notification form asks:

• Event name, location and time (you can enter multiple times on one form if the event is recurring)
• Event description: Provide the necessary information here, e.g. who the event is aimed at, what kind of event it is, possible performers, driving instructions, accessibility, etc. Do not use emojis in the text!
• Event classification  -> select all options that suit your event
• Event organizer
• Event website, if any
• Is there a fee for the event? Please indicate the ticket prices.
• Upload an event image/image ad. If the event does not have an image, the event list will show a default image selected by the city. However, it is recommended to add an image that is appropriate for the event and to which you have the rights.

The event announcement will be sent as a draft to Teija Salonen or Eila Mäntyjärvi for approval/publication. After our approval, the event will appear in the event calendar.

After registering your event, you will receive a link to your event and can edit it afterwards.

• It is also worth announcing the event to the local radio stations of Ikaalinen and neighboring municipalities and towns on Facebook, and for larger events, contact the communications of these municipalities.

• If the event could be of interest to a wider audience, please also announce it in Aamulehti Menokone at Pirkanmaa Menokone (aamulehti.fi)
