Customer fees for early childhood education

EARLY EDUCATION CUSTOMER FEES 

Overview

The provisions concerning early childhood education client fees are compiled in the Early Childhood Education Client Fees Act 1503/2016. The said Act provides for the determination of fees to be charged for early childhood education and the income that serves as the basis for determining the early childhood education client fee. Section 4 of the Interest Act (633/1982) provides for the late payment interest to be charged for late payment of early childhood education client fees.

Hourly step selection 

The following hour scales are in use:

maximum 20h/week (60% of the early childhood education client fee)
less than 35 hours/week (80% of the early childhood education client fee) 
35 hours or more (100% of the early childhood education client fee) 

Time-based billing

As of February 1, 2018, the monthly steps for time-based billing are calculated. If reserved If the number of hours is exceeded, the early childhood education will be invoiced according to the actual level. If the number of hours is less, the invoice will be invoiced according to the agreement. The change in the level of hours is always made for at least 3 months at a time using the form provided for that purpose.

Beginning and ending of early childhood education

When early childhood education begins or ends in the middle of a calendar month, the fee is determined based on the actual early childhood education time. The actual early childhood education time includes booked care times regardless of whether the child was present. Cancellation is made in advance using a written form:
