Valkean Ruusun daycare

LOCATION

Our daycare center was completed in 2013 and is located in the heart of Ikaalinen, in the immediate vicinity of Valkean ruusun school. The surrounding area of ​​the daycare center offers many opportunities for diverse physical activities. Our daycare center has a versatile playground and a large hall that invites you to move around. The interior of the daycare center is spacious and allows for diverse and high-quality early childhood education activities.

EARLY EARLY EDUCATION PEDAGOGICAL DAY-TO-DAY AT THE WHITE ROSE DAYCARE HOME

The vision of Ikaalinen early childhood education is to raise healthy, playful, open and self-confident children together with their caregivers. Pedagogical everyday life in a safe learning environment is realized at Valkean ruusu daycare center, for example through small group activities, play and the presence of adults, taking into account the children's individual support needs.

There are five groups in our daycare, two of which are preschool groups and the other groups are sibling groups. 

Our own daycare center is responsible for our healthy and varied diet. Lunch and dinner are delivered to us from the central kitchen, which is located in the Co-educational School. Our own daycare center prepares breakfast and snacks. Often, groups of children also prepare their own snacks, for example by baking or chopping fruit.

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS AND TAKE-AWAY CARE

Care times are booked through the early childhood education information system Päiky. The daycare center's opening hours and staff shifts are specified according to the children's care needs. Shift care is offered to families where the guardians/adults living in the same household as the child are working at the same time. A prerequisite for receiving shift care is a certificate of shift work signed by the employer.
