LOCATION

Daycare center Kakkospesä is located in a quiet area of ​​single-family homes, 2 km from the center of Ikaalinen. The daycare center's yard is large and diverse, there is also a playground next door and, in winter, an ice skating rink and cross-country ski trails. We follow the changes of the seasons in the nearby forest. The daycare center has spacious interiors, which enable diverse and high-quality early childhood education activities.

PEDAGOGICAL EVERYDAY LIFE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AT KAKKOSPESÄ

The vision of Ikaalinen early childhood education is to raise healthy, playful, open and self-confident children together with their caregivers. Pedagogical everyday life in a safe learning environment is realized at Kakkospesä daycare center, for example through small group activities, play and the presence of adults, taking into account the children's individual support needs. Our daycare center has two sibling groups for children aged 1-5.

KITCHEN

Lunch is delivered to us from the central kitchen. Breakfast and snacks are provided by the daycare hostess in our kitchen.
