Tevaniemi group family daycare

LOCATION

Tevaniemi is an active village on the shores of Lake Kyrösjärvi. The Tevaniemi group family daycare operates at the Tevaniemi school. The school has grades 1–6 and preschool. The group takes care of pre-school children. 

PEDAGOGICAL EVERYDAY LIFE

We strive to give the child time, peace and space to play alone or with other children, either under supervision or independently. The adult creates a calm and unhurried atmosphere through their own behavior. The daily schedule can be flexible according to the situation.

Every child is encountered daily as an individual and as an equal member of the group.
We create a safe day for the child with mutually agreed rules and boundaries. A regular but flexible daily routine and familiar adults create a safe and trusting atmosphere for the child. We also cooperate with other groups and Tevaniemi School.
