Preschool transportation

The municipality will arrange transportation for a preschool student if the preschool student's journey to the preschool location specified by the education provider is more than 3 km.

If the family chooses a preschool location other than that specified by the education provider and the distance exceeds three kilometers, transportation will not be arranged.

It should also be noted that transportation only applies to free preschool education; trips to early childhood education that supplements preschool education are not included in the scope of transportation.

The organization of transportation is governed by the school transportation regulations of the City of Ikaalinen.
