KoKo Ry

The Valkea ruusu school's parents' association Ko-Ko ry was founded in 1991. It is a member association of the national Finnish Parents' Association and is politically and religiously independent. The association's purpose is, among other things, to promote cooperation between the school and parents and to support the Valkea ruusu school's goal of making communication between homes and schools open.

Over the years, Ko-Ko has organized various activities and events. In addition to regular parent cafes, second-hand shops, discussion groups, and various hobby clubs have been organized. Ko-Ko also annually awards scholarships to 6th grade students and honors certificates to students in other grades.

At its annual meeting in the autumn, Ko-Ko elects a board from among its members, aiming to include guardians of students from different grades, and plans its activities. All guardians of students at Valkea ruusu school are welcome to attend the meetings, and information about them is mainly provided through Wilma.

The association is constantly looking for new ideas and active participants, and everyone is welcome to participate. Feel free to approach the association's participants with new ideas.
