Heittola Beach / Heittolan uimaranta, which has a lean-to, sauna, cooking shelter with terrace, swimming pier and boat dock with guest spaces. The Vääräjoki canoe hiking route descends to Heittola beach.

The beach offers good swimming opportunities on the sandy beach, a pier, a wood-heated beach sauna, a lean-to, a summer kitchen and, among other things, stand-up paddleboards for public use. The beach also has good boat moorings for boaters and the Vääräjoki canoe route, which runs along the river, ends at the river estuary at Heittola beach.

The proximity of the river and lake also offers good fishing opportunities. The forests of Riitiala offer opportunities for mushroom picking, berry picking, hunting or just hanging out in the forest.

Water cooperative

Riitialan seudun vesiosuuskunta has a comprehensive water supply network. Connecting your household to the network is easy, as the main lines extend over a wide area. The water quality is excellent. Most of the approximately 200 households in the area have connected to this network. Contact us when you want high-quality water for your house or holiday home! Rental spaces

Through the village association you can rent, among other things, a large coffee machine and tents.

The Workers' House Riitialan Työväentalo is suitable for indoor activities and fitness. The city's youth service and 4H association organize weekly activities for children and young people there. The Workers' House also has a free gym for villagers.
