Huopio market

The Luhalahti Village Association organizes the rustic Huopio Market four times a summer. The market is a popular event that attracts both vendors and customers from a wide area. The atmosphere at the market is warm, familiar and unfamiliar people meet each other, exchange news, reminisce about the past and enjoy being together.

Frisbee golf baskets

There are 3 Frisbee golf baskets in use in the village market area. The baskets can be moved and the distance between throws can be increased by the size of the market area. A suitable and interesting hobby for children.

Fishing permits for Lake Kyrösjärvi are sold by Mika Rintamäki, tel. 0405941058. Luhalahti Autohuolto also sells fishing permits for the lakes in the area: Kyrösjärvi, Särkijärvi and Sipsiönjärvi.

Gym

There is gym equipment on the ground floor of Luhalinna. The gym is for use by the villagers and is maintained by Luhalahden Luja.

Inter-village challenge competition

Walkers and cyclists can participate in the annual Ikaalinen inter-village challenge race held during the summer. The results booklet can be found in the mailbox at the beginning of Huopionrinteentie and next to the Iso-Röyhiö notice board.

Hiking landscapes of Seitseminen National Park

The hiking landscapes of Seitseminen National Park can be reached from the center of Luhalahti on the road to Sisättö. The distance to the starting point in Kovero is about 15 km. In the national park, you can go hiking and camping, and even spend the night in a tent. You can also go canoeing. More information: www.luontoon.fi/seitseminen

Beaches

There is also a public beach and pier at Kyrö opposite Luhalinna, Vaho public beach, and Iso-Röyhiö boat pier.
