Discover the village of Kovelahti

Kovelahti is a narrow bay that is over 10 km long, northwest of Lake Kyrösjärvi.

At the edge of this scenic bay is the village of Kovelahti, with Koveranta on the southern shore and Tuhkuri on the northern side. The intermediate village is located to the west around the Kovesjoki River, bordering Lake Jämijärvi.

The landscapes of Kovelahti are varied and rich in beauty, in the gentle bay of Lake Kyrösjärvi and in the flowing waters of the Kovesjoki River.

The villages are active and vibrant, relying heavily on agriculture. There are many organic farmers in the villages, as well as dairy producers and a pig producer. In addition, many secondary industries have been developed in connection with agriculture, such as honey production. There are also several small businesses operating in the village.
