Discover the village of Jylli

The village of Jylli is located approximately 15 kilometers from the center of Ikaalinen, bordering the municipality of Jämijärvi.

The Jyllinjoki River flows through the village, starting from Lake Jämijärvi and flowing into Lake Kyrösjärvi, offering a great canoeing route for kayakers.

Nearby Hämeenkangas offers excellent skiing, hiking and fitness terrain.

Jyllin vesiosuuskunta, a water cooperative, supplies excellent groundwater from its water intake in Hämeenkangas to a wide area in Ikaalinen.

There are traditional clubs operating in Jylli: Jyllin Metsästysseura hunting club and Jyllin Rauha sports club.

There are many ways to get active and do sports in Jylli. You can do water sports such as swimming or kayaking, or if the forest is more your thing, you can join the Ikaalinen village-to-village challenge cycling and walking, in which Jylli residents have successfully participated.
