Hey!
I have lived in Ikaalis for over 20 years. My husband and I decided to move to the landscape of his childhood, Kilvakkala. It was clear to us that we wanted our children to grow up in the middle of grain fields, under the open sky. I have always enjoyed the countryside, although it is also nice to go shopping and go on cultural excursions in the city from time to time. Kilvakkala is a village of just the right size for us: there is plenty of peace and space, but the services of the city center are within cycling distance. The best things about Ikaalis are the paths and pine scent of Vatulanharju, the lake views that open up on every side, and the friendly people.
