Change in the spa area plan

The planning area is located in the Ikaalinen Spa area district (10). The planning area includes a block of buildings serving tourism, a boat launch area and a street area.

The aim of the local plan amendment is to condense construction of hotel buildings into a clearer whole, concentrating new construction related to accommodation at both ends of the current main building and enabling the possible expansion of the spa section, developing accommodation opportunities in the area with smaller accommodation complexes located on the shore, and improving parking and vehicle and pedestrian routes to meet the future development needs of the area.

In connection with the site plan work, the need to add possible building protection markings to the old buildings on the Tuomarla farm will also be examined.

Plan approval June 23, 2025, entry into force August 13, 2025.
