Permits for public areas, Lupapiste

Lupapiste service is a digital built environment permit application system. It brings together the municipal authority, permit applicant, planner and other stakeholder professionals in one address and keeps all project parties informed about the project's progress. 

The permit office covers all applications for permits for public areas in the City of Ikaalinen.

You register for the service with your bank details or mobile certificate the first time you use it, and it is free to use.

Lupapiste enables permit transactions 24/7 and regardless of location. In the future, there will be no need to submit paper applications or documents, but documents can be added to the application digitally through Lupapiste. Through the service, everyone working on the project can see the progress of the process and, for example, can request or provide additional information if necessary. Lupapiste streamlines and speeds up the permit process.  

 Using the service is simple and free of charge for the applicant – you only need to worry about the costs of the permit. It is especially recommended for permit applicant organizations that manage several projects to register for a paid Business Account. This makes internal project management and reporting easier.  

Using Lupapiste in short:

1. Register for the service the first time you use it and then log in with your email address and password.
2. Create an application or survey: Select the location and main activity of your project. You can then either create a survey related to the project or create an application based on your previous selections.
3. Invite the necessary parties to the project from the “Parties” (Osapuolet) tab. Once the people have accepted the project invitation, their information can be selected for the application, saving you unnecessary typing.
4. Save the project-related information and documents together with other parties. All the information you enter is automatically saved to the application and you can continue to complete it at a time that suits you.
5. If necessary, ask the authority for advice through the project-specific "Messages" (Viestit) window.
6. Submit your application to the authority from the "Submitting an application" (Hakemuksen jättäminen) tab.

The fee for work on the streets and other public areas and their use from XNUMX is as follows:

The basic fee is €50,00 (VAT 0%), in addition to the basic fee, a usage fee of €/day is charged.
