Tevaniemi School

Overview

Our school is a small regional school on the shores of Lake Kyrösjärvi in ​​Eastern Ikaalis. Our school also has a preschool and a group family daycare center, Leppis, on the same property.

In the 2026-27 academic year, 86 students will be studying at our school.

Our goal is to provide high-quality basic education to students and to be "in tune with the times".

We invest in adopting good manners and creating a safe and comfortable learning and working atmosphere.

School location

Tevaniemi School is located in an idyllic location on the shores of Lake Kyrösjärvi, right in the center of Tevaniemi village.

History

The Tevaniemi school began operating in 1928. The fall semester was held at Paasto in the village of Miettinen and the spring semester was held at Perta in the village of Höytölä.

The current school building was completed in the Olympic year of 1952.
