The purpose of the rules of order is to promote internal order in the school, the smooth running of studies, and the safety and comfort of the school community.
Ikaalinen Co-educational School follows the school's rules and regulations and current legislation.
Rules of conduct are observed during school hours on school grounds and in learning environments determined by the teacher, as well as at events organized by the school.
Students have the right to free basic education, the right to equal and fair treatment, the right to personal freedom and physical integrity, and the right to protection of private life.
Students have the right to receive instruction on all school working days, the right to a safe learning environment, and other benefits and services specified in legislation.
No one is bullied during the school day. Ikaalinen Co-educational School uses the KiVa School program (anti-bullying program).

Students come to school dressed appropriately and appropriately. Clothing should not offend others or be contrary to good manners.
A photograph or video taken of another person may not be published on the internet, social media, or in any other public place without their permission.

It is the responsibility of every student to notify a member of school staff of any safety-related defect or deficiency they observe.
Bicycles, mopeds and other means of transportation are only stored in designated places.
Throwing snowballs is prohibited in winter.
The school property is monitored by recording indoor and outdoor surveillance cameras.
Computers, mobile devices, and the school network owned by the school or students may only be used for teaching purposes as specified in the lessons.
The teacher determines whether the above-mentioned devices will be used during the lesson. Their other use during the lesson is prohibited as it is disruptive to the lesson. The teacher may require the student to bring the device that is disruptive to the lesson to the desk for the rest of the lesson, and if necessary, the device will be taken away from the student for the rest of the school day.
The use of phones during the school day and on school grounds is prohibited. Students should keep their phones in their pockets, lockers, or school bags. During lessons, teachers may collect phones from the phone park. If necessary, the phone may be taken from the student for the duration of the school day.
It is prohibited to bring objects or substances to school that are prohibited by law, dangerous, or intended to damage property.
The ban applies to, among other things, alcohol, tobacco and tobacco products as defined in the Tobacco Act, energy drinks, narcotics as defined in the Narcotics Act, knives, firearms, powerful laser pointers and similar objects and substances. The use of energy drinks during the school day is not recommended.
