The Ikaalinen City Cultural Office shows films in the ALTIN SALI, or Ikata Auditorium (Eino Salmelainen katu 20). You can see upcoming films at the Cultural Office's website. On the Upcoming Movies page, Altin Sali Facebook and cultural activities InstagramFilms are shown during the season from autumn to spring.
Cinema in Ikaalinen has a long history, and in its current form, the cinema has been operating in the Ikata Auditorium (Altin sali) since 1986. The Altin Sali received a new film projector in September 2025 with the support of the Finnish Film Foundation.

All common payment cards are accepted, including contactless payments, cash, and the most common sports and culture vouchers.
The age limits (K7, K12, K16) can be relaxed by three years when the child is accompanied by an adult. Children under three years old can watch movies rated (S) for free.
MOVIE TICKET SETS are on sale at Ikaalinen City Library.

The ticket price is 12,5 € individually or at the door.
Ticket sales begin half an hour before the start of the performance.
The Altin Sali is also a Disability Card facility.
An assistant or support person can enter the Altin Sali free of charge if their card has the A marking.
Our premises have barrier-free access and movement from one room to another.
Our premises have an accessible toilet.
There is a possibility of accessible parking near our premises.
Our stand has 8 wheelchair spaces.
