Free gym use for senior citizens of Ikaali

On 18 June 2025, the Education Board decided to grant pensioners registered in Ikaalisi the right to use the gym at the White Rose Arena free of charge on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm and on Wednesdays from 12 pm to 3 pm. The right is valid from 1 August 2025 to 31 December 2026. Users should note that the gym is closed during major cleaning and events. Closing times are announced on the arena's notice boards and website.

Users must redeem a personal, paid access card from the arena's gatekeeper. The card currently costs 28 e. When redeeming the access card, the user must prove that they are a pensioner and registered with Ikaalissi.

Parking

Weekdays from 7:00 to 16:00 at the beginning of Koulupolku (P2), behind the hall (P3) and next to the arena (P1), which is accessible from the Vanha Tampereentie side. There are marked disabled parking spaces at the main entrance to the arena and on the Vanha Tampereentie side. There is also a paid electric charging point in the parking area on the Vanha Tampereentie side. 

Access card

Possession of a pass and season ticket also entitles you to weekend use of the gym. 

Access cards are redeemed from the gatekeeper for €28. For inquiries on weekdays after 2:00 PM, call 044 730 1280.
