Beaches / swimming spots in the city center

The city manages three beaches, 
Toivolansaari beach (casino beach) at Toivolansaarentie, Toivolansaari camping area beach at Toivolansaarentie and Vaho Noljostenranta.
Regular inspections of the beaches mentioned above are carried out by diving and water samples are taken several times during the summer in accordance with EU directives. Swimming is permitted at other beaches at your own risk.

There are several swimming spots maintained by villagers in the sparsely populated area.
