The Tevaniemi Village Association's beach event, which has already become a tradition, was held in beautiful sunny weather at the Tevaniemi beach on Saturday, July 24.7th, taking into account the corona recommendations. There were approximately 35 participants (locals and summer residents).

The chairman of the Village Association, Paavo Keskiruusi, gave a welcoming speech. He spoke about the practical activities of the Village Association, including how the association remembers children born in the villages with a candlelight vigil. This year, Tuure Kuortti and his family will be remembered.

Participants enjoyed a musical performance by Juhani Mustakangas alto saxophone played from a boat on the lake, and local author Pekka Tuulenkylä presented
their books at the event.

The active members of the village club held a buffet at the event, offering coffee, juice, sausage, pancakes and other delicacies.

There was face painting for children and those with a childish mind at the event, and you could also get your picture painted on your feet and hands. The most popular images turned out to be emojis, skulls, fruits and snakes.

Sofia and Karoliina Marttila were
built a stick horse track for the event. After completing the course, each participant received a rosette as a souvenir. There was a lot of excitement on the stick horse track as people were excited to go around the track again and again.

As the evening progressed, there was a competition in frisbee golf putting. This year, Aki Mäkelä won the competition with a score of 7/10. Finally, the traditional small raffle was held.

29.11.2020 At the Tevaniemi Christmas opening, the Lumia Christmas tree was lit to illuminate the entire village, and candles were also lit at the Tevaniemi Country Club House. From the Lumia Christmas tree, people moved to Nikula's yard to sing Christmas carols, where they enjoyed mulled wine. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED AND TO THOSE WHO WERE IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS! THE TEVANIEMI VILLAGE CLUB WISHES EVERYONE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!

The Tevaniemi beach party was held in beautiful weather at the Tevaniemi beach on Friday, August 9, 2019. The event decided the Tevaniemi darts champions, as well as the hay for the pole competition in the Tevaniemi hay hat and hay scarf. The event also included singing and a raffle. The children got to go on a stick horse course, where each runner received a rosette. Everyone also flew their Frisbees really well. A big thank you to everyone who helped with the arrangements, and to those of you who spent a sunny evening with us!

On April 28, 2019, the Tevaniemi Village Association remembered new villagers Ruusa, Emilia and Toivo (not in the picture) with beautiful crystal candlesticks. Congratulations to the new villagers and their families

A family event was held at the Tevaniemi Country Club on Sunday, August 5, 2018. The house was filled with happy families having fun with SuperSam, the Snowman and Spiderman. The village club buffet offered a variety of treats, including cotton candy. There was face painting at the event. Thanks to everyone who participated!
