Vatulanharju Vesti Elections

Welcome to a free nature and cultural event for the whole family at Vatulanharju in Ikaalinis!
At Vestivaale you can enjoy the magnificent ridge nature, local history, animals, accordion music and nice company.

Vatulanharju is a nationally valuable landscape area and is part of the ridge protection program – there is plenty to see and experience here for people of all ages.

You can also play mölkky and croquet or try the renovated frisbee golf course.

At Avokoda, Hämeen-Pirkanmaa Martat offers nettle rolls. You can also bake chocolate bananas and sausages there.

Sausages are also available at the Nykäys trail hut, where you can enjoy pea soup. The cafes at the ski lodge and trail hut will be open throughout the event.

Harju's large and sweet blueberries are freely available for tasting – straight from nature's own delicious table!

The Vesti elections will be opened by Katariina Pylsy, a local councilor from Hämeenkyrö, who is known as an advocate for nature, landscapes and local culture.
