A catchment area mapping has been carried out in the Kilvakkala region of Ikaalinen, which has identified places where it would be possible to control erosion with the help of water management structures, while at the same time reducing the transport of solid matter and nutrients into the watercourse, and developing water management in forestry lands and arable areas.
