Government services for rural businesses

The City of Ikaalinen has agreed that the City of Sastamala will ensure that rural administration tasks are carried out in a manner appropriate to European Union and national legislation in the area of the City of Ikaalinen.

The activities concern administrative tasks and services belonging to the municipal rural business authority (Act on the Organisation of Rural Administration in Municipalities of 30 March 2010/210 and amendments and references to it in other acts.)

The Rural Business Authority Services operate under the supervision of the Sastamala Technical Board and the Finnish Food Authority and the Pirkanmaa ELY Centre.

Main tasks:

Reception of agricultural aid applications, administrative control, payment, decision-making and recovery as required by the paying agency agreement.
Waste oat control.
Field inspections and damage assessments of damage caused by deer, predators and protected birds.
Preparation and maintenance of farmer reservations and contingency plans
