Market life is strongly part of the local culture of Ikaalinen and is part of our identity. The market is a common living room for the people of Ikaalinen, summer residents and visitors, where people come not only to shop but also to spend time and meet friends. The market is located in the church square along Abrahaminkatu. The historical roots of the market date back to the cattle market, which began to be held in Ikaalinen in 1890 on the site of the current baseball field.

In early summer, the Ikaalisten market is bathed in a splendor of flowers, while in autumn, berries, vegetables and root vegetables burst into abundance. There is a wide variety of clothing and food to fill your stomach. The market still has the old-fashioned market spirit.

Ikaalisten Market is open on weekdays from 7 am to 14 pm all year round. You can purchase a seasonal spot in advance for market sales or a one-time spot on the morning of the market. For more information: tel. 044 730 1505
