Municipality of Ikaalinen has agreed on joint services with the following service providers.
Digital and Population Information Agency (formerly the Register Office and Population Register)
The service point's operating model is based on customer orientated and modern, digital service. The customer can get their case processed smoothly and quickly in the way that suits them best. The service advisor guides and advises the customer in many ways, for example in finding the right authority and dealing independently with online services, and if necessary, getting a remote service connection to a Kela officer.
The revised Joint Services Act enables flexible and diverse ways of operating. Diverse electronic channels bring new efficiency to operations. The focus of the service is now on digital channels and the goal is to guide customers to successfully use the authorities' online services.
As government services move over electronic channels, the task of the service advisor at the Customer Service Point is to guide customers to the right online services, advise on their use, and encourage and support independent online transactions. The Customer Service Point provides customers with devices and connections free of charge.
Service advisors help
The contact point is a joint customer service point for public administration, where you can get expert help with various government services. At the contact point, you will be assisted by a service advisor who can direct you to the right authorities and services.
If you need to submit forms or applications in paper form, that is also possible. At the service point, a service advisor can scan and deliver your documents by email.
Smoothly electronically
The customer terminal at the service point allows you to explore the authorities' electronic services and use them independently or with the guidance of a service advisor. The customer terminal is free of charge and the service advisor will guide you in using the devices and online services.
You can use the remote service to contact Kela experts.
The service advisor will open a remote connection to an expert and you can have confidential discussions with the authority face-to-face, via video link. Remote services are available on weekdays from 9 am to 12 pm, 13 pm to 15 pm or by appointment.
Services include:
• receiving applications, attachments or other documents and
advice on filling out them
• distribution of publications, brochures and forms
• presentation of online services and guidance on their use at the self-service point
• remote service connection with authorities' experts
When a service point receives a document that is part of a shared service agreement, the matter referred to in the document becomes spending.
